Old Golf Auction starts today

8.40am 27th March 2009 - Salesroom & Memorabilia

“The auction comprises over 1,100 items, more than we‘ve ever had in a single auction before. Many of the lots are highly significant, and they cover all the key collecting categories: clubs, balls, books, programmes, other printed ephemera, porcelain and glass, artwork etc,” says auctioneer Graham Rowley.

There is a large collection of wrapped golf balls and rare golf ball boxes (from 1890s onwards), several signed Bobby Jones items and many rare Books and postcards.

“To receive a pre-view list of all the items in the auction, please e-mail me and I will send it to you by return,” said Graham who can be contacted at enquiries@oldgolfauctions.com

“If you have yet to register to bid,” he continued. “you can do so in just a few minutes by going to the home page of our website – www.oldgolfauctions.com – and following the simple instructions. It’s totally free and we don‘t even ask you for any credit card details.

“Don‘t hesitate to e-mail us at enquiries@oldgolfauctions.com if you have any difficulty registering, or if you have any other queries such as a lost Username or Password. We‘ll be delighted to help.”

Graham Rowley will be in the US again in April and is already accepting consignments for the May/June auction.
