Arrangements are well advanced for the second in the series of Field Days organised by the Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA). To be held at the turf nursery of Worcestershire TGA member Peter Lole of Teal Turf, the 2001 TGA Field Days will take place on 21st and 22nd June at Teal Farm, Wadborough, near Worcester. The event will feature extensive static exhibits and working demonstrations, showcasing the wide range of products and services specified and used by turf growers and other turf professionals.
“We are aiming to build upon the tremendous success of the 1999 TGA Field Days held at North West Turf’s farm near Ormskirk, Lancashire,” commented TGA chief executive, David Clarke. “A new development at this year’s event is the opening up of attendance to a wider audience than solely turf growers. Anyone with a professional involvement in buying, selling, specifying, laying or caring for cultivated turf is welcome to attend the Field Days, although we do ask that tickets be obtained in advance from the TGA.”
A further development at the 2001 TGA Field Days is the extending of invitations to companies other than TGA affiliates to exhibit and demonstrate their turf, amenity and landscape products and services at the Field Days.
