Range Servant chosen as PGA Official Supplier

7.57am 3rd November 2008 - Corporate

As a key supplier of ball management equipment and systems to many of the world’s leading golf operators, Range Servant has been chosen to join the PGA’s worldwide Official Supplier programme. With branded facilities such as the training academies at Formby Hall in the UK and Roda in Spain, the PGA is establishing a global network of similar facilities in China, India, Russia and Turkey, and sees Range Servant as an ideal partner.

Range Servant will be advising on all forms of ball management equipment, from dispensers, collectors and teeing systems to purchasing systems such as its powerful Select online payment system. As a successful global operation itself, Range Servant is an ideal partner for equipping the PGA’s rapidly expanding operations, and besides Formby Hall, has also installed a complete ball management system at the PGA’s state of the art golf academy at the Roda Golf and Beach Resort in Murcia, Spain.

Robert Maxfield, property & commercial director PGA, comments, “We are delighted to announce that Range Servant has joined our Official Supplier programme. Range Servant has vast expertise and knowledge in golf academies development and we look forward to working together on developing PGA Academies around the world.”

Hà¥kan Kjellqvist, sales and marketing manager for Range Servant, negotiated the partnership agreement with the PGA, “For 25 years, Range Servant has been the driving force behind the world’s biggest and best driving ranges. More driving ranges prefer Range Servant ball management equipment to any other make, and that’s why the PGA approached us.”

Jo Cholmondeley-Smith, sales manager for Range Servant UK, initiated the partnership between Range Servant and the PGA and is delighted this arrangement has now come to fruition. “I’ve been looking forward to this result, and the PGA’s endorsement of our brand is a real highlight of this year,” she said.

“Range Servant has always actively pursued product research and development, and creative marketing of their systems. By understanding the high expectations and needs of the PGA, this partnership will ensure both parties work closely together to provide the highest quality ball management systems to all PGA facilities worldwide.”
