Globalgolfers.com launches overseas licensee programme

8.05am 1st September 2008 - Corporate

Eleven years ago, Globalgolfers.com launched its first tournament in the UK. The concept was to offer amateurs the opportunity to compete in a national event that would give every competitor a chance of winning a prize of playing in an overseas final against the USA, in Las Vegas.

“Since then,” says the company’s Ian Mulcrone, “the numbers of participants have grown year-on-year making this the largest event of its kind in the world. To compliment this success, more events were launched to such exotic destinations as South Africa, The Bahamas, USA, Spain, Portugal and Jamaica.

“The interest these events and our membership scheme generated prompted other countries to ask if they could be involved. At that time we were not in a position to offer any facilities to other countries to participate.”

Mulcrone says that over the last five years Globalgolfers has invested heavily in research and development on web and management systems specifically to create a complete turn-key operation that can be implemented immediately on a world wide basis.

“Now,” he goes on, “individuals and companies can benefit from the totally unique business blueprint with virtually no down-time in getting up and running. You will have all the tools you need to quickly get your events organised plus the ability to sell membership online, advertising and secure valuable sponsorship through our UK and worldwide network.”

Exclusive Master country licenses (only one per country) are now being offered. The successful candidates will run national golf evens, sell online membership and join other licensees at the overseas finals. www.globalgolfers.com
