As part of their sponsorship agreement with the English Golf Union (EGU), Approved Golf Properties are launching a new revenue opportunity that will be available to all EGU affiliated clubs.
Approved Golf Properties (AGP) specialises in sourcing and marketing the world’s best golf properties and have agreed to make a donation to EGU golf clubs should a club member buy an overseas property marketed by AGP. AGP will be providing promotional material, along with advice and guidance to communicate the opportunity to club members and will manage the ongoing activity so that clubs do not have to incur any costs or staffing resource.
Gary Dalton, AGP marketing director commented, “We think this a great opportunity for clubs to receive monies which can be used to support their junior sections, Captain’s Charity or help improve the club’s facilities. Not only can the clubs raise funds but club members can also be sure that any property is thoroughly checked and inspected and their purchase is safe and secure.”
AGP have developed unique ‘Safe Buying Environment’ to facilitate and safeguard the process for Britons purchasing properties abroad, a service that has already been adopted by The Telegraph and Reader’s Digest who have appointed Approved Properties Abroad, the parent company of AGP, as the provider for their overseas property service.
Lynne Fraser, EGU marketing and PR manager added, “We hope clubs will take up the opportunity to find out more about AGP’s programme. It is a great way for clubs to benefit from extra funds and golfers to get peace of mind, which is becoming so important when buying abroad.”
AGP have already sponsored the English Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship for the Brabazon Trophy and through this programme aim to contribute to the wider grass roots of golf.
