The 2008 golf season will have a new logo, ‘Czech Republic – the Golf Republic’. A new promotion from Czech Tourism strengthens the logo, which is both daring and aggressive, with a new film called ‘Welcome to the Golf Republic!’ It is the first film about golf from CzechTourism.

Former Olympian AleÅ¡ Valenta invites viewers on a tour of the nine best golf courses in the Czech Republic. The film starts in the Royal Golf Club Marià¡nskà© Là¡zně, which was opened in 1905 by King Edward VII. After that come the Karlovy Vary Golf Resort, followed by Golf Park Plzeň, KarlÅ¡tejn Golf Resort, Golf Resort KonopiÅ¡tě, Ypsilon Golf Resort Liberec, Novà¡ Bystřice GC, Golf Brno Kaskà¡da and the Prosper Golf Club Čeladnà¡.

The film is for individual tourists and specialists, reporters and tour operators, and provides not only important information about each course but also the main tourist attractions near them.

CzechTourism will distribute the material at golf fairs and pro tournaments, and also at tourism fairs and all its presentation events where golf is one of the topics.

The film can be downloaded from the website www.czechtourism.cz Golf section, which already contains a 35-second clip from the film.
