PGA backs new golf show aimed at golfing professionals

8.26am 26th February 2008 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The PGA has announced its support of the new Golf Pro Show to be held 30 October – 1 November 2008 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

The three day event will offer exclusive benefits to PGA members including a designated hospitality area and CPD points available for attending workshops and conference sessions.

Jo Tyler, marketing director Golf Pro Show Ltd, said, “The Golf Pro Show will combine a showcase of the entire golf business including equipment, products, training aids and destinations from all over the world.

“In addition there will be range of conference sessions and workshops, informal evening networking events, a golf tournament and a range of practice zones for testing new products.

“Free for professionals, course owners/staff and retailers this event is exclusive for trade; however, the final day will be a preview day for the wider golfing community – by invitation only. This is the event for the Golf Industry.”

“This is an opportunity for PGA members to get together, pick up essential CPD points, learn the theory behind the latest golfing technology, debate the issues affecting the industry and source the latest products for club shops” says Sandy Jones, chief executive, PGA. “The PGA is pleased to be supporting this UK event aimed at the business and golf professionals working within the golf industry.”

Exclusive tickets will also be made available for PGA members to invite their clients to a preview glimpse of the products to hit the shelves next season.
