ProLink Solutions – a wholly-owned subsidiary of ProLink Holdings Corp. and the world’s leading provider of Global Positioning Satellite (“GPS”) golf course management systems and digital out-of-home on-course advertising – has announced that its international distributor, Elumina Iberica, has secured the rights to install the system at the Golf Club Gut Neuenhof (Frondenberg, Germany), the first German course to feature ProLink.
Located in western Germany near Dortmund, Gut Neuenhof ranks among Germany’s finest and most popular courses. The open layout is marked by many well-positioned water hazards and bunkers, placing a premium on strategy and shotmaking. The par-71 course also features undulating greens, exceptional views of the surrounding Westphalia countryside, complete practice facilities and a spacious modern clubhouse.
The Golf Club Gut Neuenhof joins the ranks of Europe’s top courses engaging with Elumina and ProLink, including past Ryder Cup hosts the K Club (Ireland) and Valderrama (Spain), Four Seasons Golf Club Provence at Terre Blanche (France), and St. Mellion Golf Club (United Kingdom). ProLink’s media-rich system is now featured at more than 500 courses worldwide, in such locales as South Africa, Japan, Spain, Ireland, Dubai and Mexico.
“Germany is full of outstanding golf courses and we’re delighted that Gut Neuenhof is the first to come on board with Elumina and ProLink,” says Angela Catlin, managing director for Elumina Iberica. “Course operators throughout Europe and the world recognize ProLink as the clear choice for GPS solutions and are eager to adopt the system.”
“Once again, Elumina and ProLink have joined forces to introduce GPS to a new group of golf enthusiasts,” says Lawrence D. Bain, CEO of ProLink Solutions. “ProLink continues to expand its global footprint thanks to the system’s unmatched player features, customer service, back-end management functions and revenue-driving advertising programs. As our global network spreads, ProLink’s advertising partners gain ever greater access to the coveted golf demographic in key markets.”
In January ProLink announced plans to acquire Elumina Iberica to more directly capitalize on international demand. ProLink recently formed a partnership with Inverlogy, one of the Caribbean’s fastest growing technology companies, to distribute the ProLink system and sell advertising in the booming golf destination of the Dominican Republic.
Elumina is a one of the fastest-growing and most profitable businesses in the international golf GPS industry. As ProLink’s distributor in Europe, the Middle East and Asia the past 18 months, Elumina has secured cart-mounted ProLink GPS installations at over 70 courses in these territories. Elumina is endorsed as the “Official GPS Company of The PGAs of Europe,” and ProLink GPS is used at 2006 Ryder Cup host The K Club in Ireland, Valderrama Golf Club in Spain and other prestigious venues.
