Eaton Corporation, manufacturers of Golf Pride® grips, the world’s No. 1 grip brand, has introduced the DD 2 grips for the 2007 season. This new model builds on Golf Pride’s innovative technology and commitment to improving golfers’ performance.
“The DD 2 continues to build on our groundbreaking technology,” said Jeff Fiorini, general manager of Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “With every innovation, we look to develop grips that will give golfers an edge out on the course – whether they’re a beginner or a touring professional.”
The new DD 2 grip combines a soft rubber compound with a firm, low-torque rubber material to provide golfers with enhanced stability, ultimate comfort and reduced torque for consistent shot feedback. The DD 2 employs similar material and construction technology to the popular Dual Durometer™ grip but is evolutionary in material placement and styling.

The black rubber material in the DD2 provides a stable, firm base layer that runs the length of the grip. It is visible at both ends, as well as down the front of the grip, creating an upper-hand thumb placement area for alignment. The softer gold rubber material is molded on top of the black base layer to provide maximum control and comfort in all weather conditions. The combination of DD2 grip materials and molding technology provides torsional strength and enhanced stability, which eliminates twisting or moving during the swing. The DD2 is available in standard and midsize.
