Eaton Golf Pride and the PGAs of Europe have signed a renewed Corporate Partnership contract that will extend the mutually-beneficial business relationship to a total of twelve years, as the world’s No.1 golf club grip goes from strength to strength.
The PGAs of Europe, with its 36 member countries comprising some 12,000 PGA professionals spread across the UK, the continent and beyond, thus continues its relationship with this company of genuine global significance, which began in 1998.
The new deal was agreed by Paul Steels, Golf Pride’s director of UK and European Operations, and Sandy Jones, the PGAsE chairman, who both expressed their satisfaction that such a lengthy and fruitful partnership is to continue into its fourth three-year term.
The renewed contract means that Eaton Golf Pride remains alongside international names such as Aegean Airways, Beko, Chervo, Glenmuir, Golfsmith, Golf Europe, Powakaddy, Red Bull, Snakes Eyes and Srixon as official business associates.
As the new three-year term commenced, Paul Steels commented, “Our partnership with the PGAs of Europe has been a positive part of our marketing strategy for the past nine years, and we’re very happy to see it continue.
“In the leading professional tournaments around the world, somewhere between 80% and 85% of the players use our grip. And what I must stress here is that we do not pay out a single penny in sponsorship deals. These top professionals use our products because they regard them as the best on the market, not because we pay them to do so.
“I can’t think of any other company in the golf industry who can say the same. Many of these companies pay out a fortune to players who use their equipment. We pay nothing.”
During its period of continued growth the Golf Pride collection of grips has been regularly upgraded in line with the progress of technology and innovation, while also taking good care to recognise changing trends with regard to good looks and the use of colour.
