The WS System from Srixon Sports Europe

8.00am 9th January 2007 - Corporate

Srixon Sports Europe, based in Alton UK, have added a new Driver, Fairway Wood, Irons and Utility club to their range, incorporating their new and proprietary WS System.

The new WS System combines Weight Optimization with Shock Absorption to give more distance, greater accuracy and better feel.

Using Srixon’s centre of gravity technology, the 460cc Titanium Z-TI Driver uses the WS System with tungsten nickel weights and 0.5mm crown to achieve maximum distance with high launch and low spin.

The weights are placed in differing positions in the head depending on the loft of the club, to create squarer impact and hence greater accuracy.

The addition of the shock absorbing material and sound rib structure ensure both an excellent feel and sound. Available in men’s & ladies’.

For the M Steel Fairway Wood the centre of gravity is lowered and deepened with the tungsten nickel weight in the sole of the heel for greater stability and for an easier launch angle and hence greater carry.

Designed with linear moment of inertia around axis, for greater stability, the shock absorbing gel in the toe ensures better vibration control at impact and gives a shot that is both long and feels good. Available in men’s & ladies’.

The ball rises easily and flies further with the new 601 irons, because of its high launch, low spin and low centre of gravity generated by the tungsten nickel weight and the under cut sole. In addition, the thinner face helps to increase ball speed.

Designed again through linear moment of inertia around axis, the clubs are squarer at impact. The Tungsten nickel weights are strategically placed in varying positions depending on the length of the club to ensure squarer impact, better directional stability and fewer mis-hits. The shock absorbing gel ensures optimum feel and control. Available in men’s & ladies’.

All clubs are available from a selection of leading Srixon Golf stockists.
