AboutGolf Europe has been selected by leading European sports retail group Decathlon to install six state of the art indoor golf simulators into selected stores across continental Europe. The installations will take place in Paris, Lille, Madrid (2) and Bilbao as part of a long term strategic plan, to introduce leading technology into Decathlon’s golf retail environment. Over the course of the next three years the plan is to install a total of 30 simulators across the company’s 350 stores to assist sales staff provide the highest levels of service to customers looking to purchase new golf clubs.
Key to Decathlon’s decision to select the About Golf Simulator was the high levels of accuracy of data delivered by the system, a critical requirement when custom fitting the correct golf clubs to a customers individual swing. The About Golf Simulator utilises advanced Phased Array radar tracking technology, developed by leading technology company EDH Sport which provides highly accurate shot data which can be used for custom fit purposes. In house graphics software design results in simulation standards reaching new levels of realism all supported with quality installation, technical support and service.
