The formalities were completed on the PGA Village stand at Golf Europe 2006 in Munich, thereby enabling Srixon to join the elite group of companies who work together with the PGAs of Europe to mutual benefit.
Srixon are the fastest growing golf ball company in the UK , having reached second place in the sales ratings, and this rapid ascendancy is expected to move into European markets during the period of the Partnership agreement.
“Although the initial contract is for a three-year period, our intention is to work with the PGAs of Europe beyond that time and well into the future”, said Mike Jacobsen, Srixon’s north European sales manager.
The Srixon ball, bearing the PGAsE logo and appropriate wording, will be in evidence at the International Team Championships at Roda G&CC, Murcia , in mid-November.
“We are naturally delighted to have completed a Partnership with a golf ball manufacturer of Srixon’s quality and reputation,” said Sandy Jones, the PGAsE chairman. “They exactly fit the profile of those companies with whom we enter Corporate Partnership arrangements because of the emphasis they place on quality and progress. We are confident that the high degree of public awareness and popularity they have already generated in the UK in recent years will be spread across our 34 membership countries.”
Srixon are now examining a number of promotional ideas, linked to the PGA professionals located right across the continent.
