The PGA has strengthened its relationship with Danwood by signing a five year extension to use the company’s high tech print and document solutions.
Danwood is the largest independent provider of document solutions in Europe, servicing and managing more than 100,000 machines in the UK and Ireland.
The agreement reflects the PGA’s commitment to partnerships in golf and working with leading brands to ensure its position at the heart of the game.
As part of the agreement the PGA will continue to utilise its state-of-the-art multifunctional devices across its business both nationally and regionally where the Association administers more than 700 tournaments.
“Working with Danwood has been a tremendous asset to the PGA assisting us in the day to day activities of our business and we are delighted to cement that relationship by extending that partnership to 2016,” said PGA chief executive Sandy Jones.
Danwood has more than 40 offices in its network including four national distribution centres and a head office in Lincolnshire. The innovative company has a 450 strong team of service engineers maintaining 97 per cent uptime across its entire machine base.
Graham Reeve, managing director for business development and strategy for The Danwood Group commented: “As we celebrate our 40th year in business we are proud of the excellent long term relationships we have evolved over that period and none more so than our partnership with the PGA and all its members.
“The spirit in which the great game of golf is played is one that very much strikes a chord with how we, at Danwood, look to conduct our business and we look forward to a further five years supporting the PGA.”
