Golfbreaks.com, Europe’s largest golf travel company, has enlarged its current venue range by launching breaks to Belgium.
From 1st July 2006 customers can choose from four hotels and eleven golf clubs in the Brabant Wallon region of Belgium; nicknamed “Garden of Brussels”. All eleven clubs are within a 15 kilometre radius and only 20 minutes by road south of Brussels.
The four hotels include the four-star Grand Hotel Waterloo, the five-star Chateau du Lac, a country house Le Manoir du Lac and the three-star hotel Le Lido. Prices start at £185 per person for two nights’ bed and breakfast, three rounds of golf and the channel crossing.
“Offering breaks to Belgium is a natural progression for us after France,” explains Mr Daniel Grave, Golfbreaks.com’s sales director. “Brabant Wallon has some top golf courses on offer and is only approximately a two hour drive from Calais and 20 minutes from Brussels, so is a great location.”
Customers now have over 500 top golfing venues to choose from in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium.
