STRI is pleased to announce that PGM (Park & Golf Equipment AS) and STRI have entered a collaborative agreement for soil analysis and testing for PGM clients across Norway.
This provides a route for all golf clubs and sports facilities across Norway to access quick and efficient soil testing through STRI’s A2LA Accredited laboratories. STRI is one of only two testing laboratories outside the US to achieve this level of technical excellence.
This exclusive testing partnership was set up following the success of a similar agreement, set up in 2010, with Jordelit for all their clients across Sweden. Both PGM’s clients in Norway and Jordelit’s clients across Sweden can now benefit from discounted testing services at STRI, one of the world’s leading laboratories, based in the UK.
STRI’s Consultant, Lee Penrose, commented on the agreement: “PGM are well positioned in Norway and it is great that they can now offer discounted testing services for their clients through STRI’s labs. The results that clients get from the soil testing will really help them to understand the current properties of their turf and what they need to do to improve quality across their surfaces.”
PGM’s Product Manager, Thomas Nicolaysen, commented: “The testing we are offering through STRI is very comprehensive and includes Organic Matter Content analysis, Nutrient Identification, Cation Exchange Capacity and pH Values. STRI’s lab services provide the results in a quick turnaround time, in an easy to understand format and we are delighted to be able to offer our clients this exclusive testing service at a great price. The accurate data and analysis from the STRI testing is invaluable information, which is used directly by our clients in the development of their maintenance programmes.”
PGM is providing golf courses and football pitches in Norway with quality fertilisers and grass seeds. The company has 25 years of experience and is located just outside of Oslo.
PGM employs five people and had a turnover in 2010 of £1.4 million. More information about the company can be found at www.pgm.no
