Make Light Work of Leaf Clearance This Autumn

12.27am 13th October 2010 - New Products - This story was updated on Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

As autumn sets in, leaf clearance becomes an arduous daily task for those who maintain open spaces.

That task is made easier and quicker with the Imants RotoBlast from Campey Turf Care Systems, a powerful tractor-mounted blower designed to move leaves, grass clippings, thatch, litter and other unwanted surface debris from turfed areas, pathways and car parks.

Attached to the 3-point linkage, the RotoBlast is mounted on a wheeled chassis to allow contour following whilst maintaining a constant nozzle height above the ground. The wheels can be inverted to revert to a fully-mounted option if required.

Mark Harris of Dewstow Golf Club in Chepstow purchased one from local dealer, Ted Hopkins Limited: “We have a lot of trees on our course and the Imants Rotoblast is ideal for manoeuvring between them. Its compact size and power requirement allows it to be mounted on our smaller 20hp John Deere tractor, so we can get into confined spaces with ease. We blast the leaves out of the wooded areas, not into them.”

Wyn Davies, sales manager at Ted Hopkins added: “If you’re looking for an effective, alternative method of leaf clearance which offers excellent value for money, flexibility and ease of operation, the Imants Rotoblast ticks all the right boxes.”
