July launch for Scotty Cameron Red X putters

7.15am 1st June 2004 - Corporate

Over the years Scotty Cameron by Titleist has built a reputation for producing putters for the world’s best players that inspire confidence on greens around the world. Scotty Cameron putters have been the top choice of more players and more champions on the US Tour than any other brand.
Titleist has further solidified its high performance product offering with the introduction of the new Scotty Cameron by Titleist Red X and Red X2 putters. The two new putter designs are based on numerous requests from Tour players for a traditional mallet shape with the legendary Cameron craft.
Master putter designer Scotty Cameron has high hopes for these latest ground breaking products. He explains, “Red X putters combine the size and shape features of the best mallets of the past with design, material and appearance lessons learned through working with tour players at the Putter Studio. The premium German stainless steel face insert surrounded by soft elastomer, in combination with the high toe profile and flowing shaft bend, creates a precise look and desirable feel. Even more importantly, the look and feel of the Red X designs instils confidence at address.”
Red X and Red X2 putters are available stock in 35-inch shaft length. The Red X2 model is not available in left hand. Each putter has 71 degrees of lie and four degrees of loft and includes a red Cameron Baby T grip. Each putter comes with a black Red X headcover with silver and red highlights and a Scotty Cameron Pivot Tool. The new Red X putters are a worthy addition to the premium, high performance Cameron line and begin shipping to golf shops in July with a suggested retail price of £200.
