Ransomes Jacobsen France S.A.S, the French subsidiary of Ipswich based turf maintenance equipment manufacturer Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd, has moved to new premises in Toulouse.
The company was formerly located in Cugnaux and shared facilities with another member of the Textron group, Granja S.A.
The new 1200 m² facility is ideally located on the outskirts of Toulouse with easy access to the main motorway network and has sufficient space for increased parts storage, which will allow greater stock levels and faster order processing.
The building houses the sales and after sales support teams and in the near future a new training centre will come on stream. The increase in space has also facilitated a new venture, a leasing operation for E-Z-GO light industrial vehicles and golf cars.
David Withers, sales and marketing director at Ransomes Jacobsen said, “The move to new premises provides the French operation with the facility to expand its penetration into the French turf care market. More whole goods can be accommodated and together with increased parts stock levels this will ensure a high level of customer service. We are also confident that the new leasing operation will make a significant contribution to the success of the business.”
