Book your ‘Dreamland’ trip to watch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

11.34am 19th March 2025 - Travel

Travelling golfers who also enjoy the adrenalin-fuelled spectacle that is Formula 1 are being invited to book a unique holiday package that includes playing golf at the highly rated Dreamland Resort near Baku and tickets to watch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Taking place from September 19-21, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is one of the most exciting races in the F1 calendar, with its tight street circuit always creating brilliant racing – and the occasional crash.

Last year’s race proved pivotal in the race for the 2024 constructor’s championship, with Oscar Piastri emerging victorious in a nail-biting race-long battle with teammate Charles Leclerc, catapulting his McLaren team in front of Red Bull in the team points list and building a lead which they were never to relinquish.

In between qualifying races and the race day itself, guests will stay at the on-site hotel at the superb Dreamland Golf Club, which is located just 20 minutes from both the Baku circuit and the airport.

Widely regarded as Azerbaijan’s finest golf course, Dreamland Golf Club’s stunning 18-hole layout was designed by Cynthia Dye of Dye Designs and is always presented in championship-ready condition.

Managed by IMG, the layout offers five tee options, with overall length of the course varying from the forward tee positions at the 4,736m to 6,838m from the championship tees. Set out as two convenient nine-hole circuits, with holes routed around ten lakes and fairway perimeters landscaped with olives trees, Dreamland bringing something of a Mediterranean feel to the Caucuses.
