Awesome Golf has announced that its innovative golf simulator software will be one of the first integrations with the new Garmin Golf Approach R50 launch monitor which was released last week.

To coincide with the launch, Awesome Golf has unveiled its latest update, bringing new functionality to the software across its range of launch monitor partners.

Gavin Hamer, the founder of Awesome Golf, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to be available on the Garmin Approach R50 from day one of their launch. To be involved with the Approach R50 from the very start is a tribute to the cooperation and planning between both sides.

“We’re delighted to introduce some great new features to go along with this launch and hope everyone has a great time playing Awesome Golf on the new Garmin launch monitor and across our partner network.”

Hamer continued: “From when we started five years ago, we could only have dreamed to be working with some of the companies that we are now. It really is incredible to see how far we’ve come and we’re excited about what the future has in store.”

Awesome Golf is available through the R50’s brand new touchscreen technology. Users of the Approach R50 are directed on how to launch Awesome Golf at the touch of a button, making the app easier to access than ever before.

The latest update to Awesome Golf gives players on their virtual golf sessions even more visual data to prepare for their next shot, while users of Awesome Golf practice modes will benefit from the introduction of Pin Shuffle in Approach Shots to give a more varied practice session.

This update follows soon after the introduction of two new championship venues, Wentworth Club’s iconic West Course, venue for the BMW PGA Championship, and the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, home of the DP World Tour’s Dubai Desert Classic.
