Pleasington Golf Club in Lancashire has unveiled a striking new collection of photographs that capture one of the most picturesque golf courses in North West England following its recent renovation.

Shot by renowned golf photographer Angus Murray, the new images portray the club’s stunning natural beauty and exceptional design, following a £1 million course renovation.

The renovation, which was led by golf course architect Ken Moodie, included restoring heathland, renovating bunkers and upgrading playing surfaces, including greens.

The 12-time Open Qualifying venue, rated among Golf Monthly’s Top 200 Courses in the UK & Ireland, is now established as one of the top golf destinations in the country.

Mark Bleasdale, the club’s general manager, commented: “We’re incredibly proud of the investment we’ve made into the club and course, and these photographs capture the reward of our continued efforts.

“Pleasington Golf Club is now firmly on the map as a destination for golfers travelling to the Open links on the North West coast, as well as those on the road to Scotland for golf breaks. We promise an experience that combines one of the best heathland golf courses in England, as well as a warm Lancashire welcome.”
