Worldwide Golf Brands has appointed Ian Kapp as its Corporate Account Agent to drive the planned expansion of its corporate business.
Kapp most recently held the role of Commercial Director at Galvin Green and was a 20-year veteran of the business. He will be working across the portfolio of WWGB brands, leveraging his experience of growing a similar role at Galvin Green across a much more diverse range of brands and products.
“My recent experience with Galvin was growing a similar type of corporate business, but I was always limited by the price point and product range on offer,” commented Kapp upon the announcement of his appointment. “With Oscar Jacobson, Stuburt, BIG MAX, ZOOM and Farah Golf, I have a huge range of products, many of which are perfect for corporate branding.
“In addition, we can offer everything from high-end crested apparel and logoed premium golf bags, through to bespoke branded caps, towels or accessories. The opportunities presented by this role are enormous and I’m incredibly excited to get started.”
Kapp will work alongside the team at WWGB head office in Manchester to identify key targets and to develop product ranges that lend themselves to developing corporate business. With a focus on developing a new market, the team at WWGB is keen to learn from Kapp’s experience.
