PGA Professional and content creator Chris Ryan has announced a partnership with HackMotion, a pioneering company at the forefront of golf swing analysis technology.
Known for his expertise in instruction, which is shared across his online platforms to more than 500,000 followers, Chris Ryan Golf has become one of the most trusted brands in golf tuition. This partnership with HackMotion, a company dedicated to providing cutting-edge insights for golfers and coaches, will take this to a new level, allowing Ryan’s audience to better understand their own faults, before seeking out advice from his extensive catalogue of video tutorials.
HackMotion specialises in motion capture, analysis and coaching technology, specifically focussing on how the wrists and hands perform throughout the swing. The importance of correct positioning of the hands and wrists throughout the swing is something that coaches unanimously agree on, however, it is impossible to know exactly what the player is doing without measuring it. HackMotion provides a simple wearable solution, to show exactly how the golfer is performing throughout the swing, what effect this is having on their clubface and how to fix any issues the golfer might have.
As part of the collaboration, Ryan and HackMotion will work closely to develop educational content, training programmes, and interactive experiences aimed at helping golfers to fully understand their own data and improve their golf swing.
Ryan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the partnership, with more than two decades spent working with golfers. Being one of the first PGA Professionals to fully embrace digital and social platforms, Chris’ audience is now global – with Chris one of the most well-respected teaching professionals in the sport.
Ryan said: “I’m thrilled to join forces with HackMotion. Their innovative approach to golf technology aligns perfectly with my mission to provide golfers with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Together, we’re poised to massively improve the way golfers train and ultimately elevate the overall standard of performance from golfers across the globe.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Chris Ryan to the HackMotion family,” said Martins Marenis, Partnership Manager at HackMotion. “His passion for the game and his commitment to excellence make him the perfect partner for us. Together, we’re excited about the prospect of making a lasting impact on the world of golf instruction, and can’t wait to work with Chris to inspire a golfers to fully understand their own swings for the first time.”
