The bunkered Podcast has announced plans for its first-ever, in-person live event. Taking place at Drygate in Glasgow on Thursday, October 5, The bunkered Podcast LIVE presented by Eden Mill will be hosted by Michael McEwan, Bryce Ritchie and Alex Perry, and will feature everything that has made the show a multi award-winning smash hit: fiercely opinionated chat, laughs, gossip and more.
Since it launched in August 2020, The bunkered Podcast has firmly established itself as the No.1 golf media podcast in the UK, attracting a loyal and fast-growing fanbase in the process.
With new episodes every week, it has featured guest appearances from some of the biggest names in the game – from Greg Norman, Jose Maria Olazabal and Gary Player, to Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam and Paige Spiranac – and has racked up listeners in more than 150 different countries.
It has charted inside the top-5 in a number of key international golf territories, including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Portugal and Spain, peaking at No.2 in the highly-competitive UK market on multiple occasions.
Taking the show from the studio to the stage, therefore, is the next natural step in its evolution.
“We are hugely excited to be launching The bunkered Podcast LIVE presented by Eden Mill,” explained bunkered editor and show co-host Bryce Ritchie. “It is something we have been planning for a long time and we’re excited to finally do it.
“The bunkered Podcast is one of our most successful brand extensions ever. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger, and I know I speak for everybody involved when I say how much we’re looking forward to taking it to Drygate.
“We’re hugely grateful to Eden Mill for coming on-board as our presenting partner for the event and we look forward to seeing everybody there on the night.”
Tickets for the show are on-sale now at www.bunkered.co.uk/podcastlive priced at £10 + VAT, and co-host Michael McEwan is anticipating they’ll be snapped up quickly.
Michael McEwan added: “It’s a great time to be hosting our first-ever live podcast off the back of the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup, and Drygate is an outstanding, established venue for this type of event.
“Bryce, Alex and I absolutely love making the show and we can’t wait to take it to a live audience. It’s going to be a great night.”
