As signatories of The R & A Women in Golf Charter and with Golfbreak’s ongoing commitment to champion women within the industry and the game itself, 2023 sees a series of initiatives to continue to help grow the women’s game.
Golfbreaks hosted their first Women’s Beginner Golf Event at Pitch Soho in London (pictured top). The event had 40 women attend who were all relatively new the game and provided them with a great opportunity to improve their skill and socialise with other women that are taking up the game, creating a great network of future specific woman’s events with Golfbreaks.
Some feedback from some of the attendees that evening:
- “Fab event, team were really friendly and helped me network when I arrived on my own”
- “The golf breaks staff were wonderful – fun and helpful.”
- “Great event, team should be proud!”
- “Everyone was lovely and really enjoyed it!”
- “Would love a follow up event!”
R&A Graduation
Golfbreaks will see two more employees, Kelly Tidy and Dolores Brown (pictured), graduate from the prestigious R & A Women’s Leadership Development programme in October, which continues to support the development and progression of women who have the potential to become future leaders within the golf industry. Chief Marketing Officer, Justine Beach Said “. As a female leader within the golf industry, I am extremely proud of their achievements and know this will help them achieve their future potential. This is our 3rd cohort of women that have graduated through this initiative and I look forward to seeing many more women at Golfbreaks follow in their footsteps”
Golfbreaks are also currently on the ground with their dedicated events team in Spain hosting over 200 clients to experience the magic of the Solheim Cup.
