In another sign that the LIV Golf League is beginning to gain momentum as a commercial entity, the 4Aces GC team led by Dustin Johnson has announced the signing of an official apparel sponsor.
Extracurricular, an apparel brand founded by Chris Rosaasen, the former CEO of Travis Matthew, has partnered with the all-American 4Aces team, which in addition to Johnson, includes Patrick Reed, Pat Perez and Peter Ulhein, in a deal which will see the quartet and their caddies wear products from the company’s latest collection, which, it says, focuses on creating ‘performance apparel that seamlessly combines functionality, comfort, and style’.
Extracurricular is providing the team with a range of functional apparel, including polo shirts, shorts and trousers.
“Partnering with Extracurricular is an exciting step forward for our team,” said Dustin Johnson.“Professional golfers understand the importance of having comfortable and functional apparel that allows us to focus on our game. But with 4Aces, we go further. We are ‘Obsessed with Better’ and Extracurricular apparel fits perfectly with our core principles of embracing the grind to deliver championship performance while looking stylish as we do it.”
“We are truly honoured to become the official apparel sponsor of 4Aces GC,” said Chris Rosaasen. “Golf is a sport that demands not only skill and precision but also a sense of elegance and style. We believe that our apparel aligns perfectly with 4Aces’ brand, providing them with the optimal blend of performance-enhancing technology and modern aesthetics. We are excited to see the 4Aces GC excel in our gear.”
4Aces GC apparel by Extracurricular will be available for customers to buy online at www.ex-cr.com and www.4acesgc.com.
The next LIV Golf League event will be at Rich Harvest Farms in Chicago from September 22-24.
