Your Golf Travel has signed 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett to its roster of official brand ambassadors.

The 35-year-old Yorkshireman joined the Your Golf Travel – and sister company Premier Golf – ranks last week, with the Your Golf Travel logo being featured on his bag at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Golf Club, Florida.

The Ryder Cup player, who is currently ranked 95th in the world, will champion the company’s tournament packages and tour destinations across the globe, playing a key role in hosting clients and providing money-can’t-buy experiences throughout 2023.

This will include private meet-and-greets for travellers to The Masters and other tournaments, as well as his own YGT Golf Day at The Belfry.

Your Golf Travel co-founder Andrew Harding, said: “Danny is a great addition to Team YGT. His experience of winning at Augusta will provide a unique insight for our clients attending The Masters and we’re looking forward to working with him and seeing him have another fantastic year on the course.”

Willett commented: “I’ve known Ross, Andrew and Your Golf Travel for many years, so I’m delighted to join the team in our new partnership. I’m looking forward to building up The Masters programme, as well as adding some great golfing experiences to customer events throughout the year.”

Willett joins friend and fellow tour professional Lee Westwood as a Your Golf Travel ambassador, and follows the announcement of PGA Pro Rachel Drummond as an official ambassador earlier this week.
