Inwook Yeom, Vice President of Global Business for Smartscore Global, said: “We are thrilled to work closely with Eric and his network globally, and look forward to meeting diverse leaders and federations within the Asian golf industry and expanding our services focused on Asia. We are keen to leverage in-depth insights and market intelligence under Eric’s advisory to accelerate our partnerships worldwide to create the Smartscore Global network.”

Eric Lynge says: “I have had the good fortune to already be partnering with Smartscore and their subsidiary, Golf Magazine Korea, for over a year as a consumer data source for various Sporting Insights data-gathering and insight projects. Sporting Insights (formerly Sports Marketing Surveys Inc) as a company has been impressed with the professionalism and proactive nature of the Smartscore group. Having met with Inwook at industry events and since learning of the global ambitions of the company, it was easy to get excited about the potential of advising them on global opportunities to expand their services.”

Smartscore Global’s primary objective is to link golfers with golf clubs worldwide, travel operators or booking platforms to provide seamless golfing experience and values to our users. Smartscore also will lead digitalization of the golf industry via mobile services and club solution platforms as well as providing a fantastic platform for golf related consumer brands to reach the Korean golfers.

Eric Lynge continued, “The Smartscore platform in Korea is unrivalled reaching 3.1 million golfing users and presents a fantastic opportunity for global brands and destinations to reach the affluent and well-travelled golfers. Smartscore’s Club Solution and hardware solutions have been tested and implemented in one of the most demanding golf markets in the world and as such, are well-suited and prepared to be applied to the club industry in Asia and beyond. I am very much looking forward to assisting Inwook and his team build on these assets.”
