Club Benchmarking announces Premier Partnership with CMAE

3.29pm 6th February 2023 - Management Topics

The Club Management Association of Europe has announced a new Premier Partnership with data analysis company Club Benchmarking EMEA.

Club Benchmarking is recognised as the industry’s leading provider of powerful business intelligence software and services for clubs of all types and for every member of the club’s leadership team. Club Benchmarking proprietary cloud-based software platforms deliver the fact-based, actionable insight clubs need to make more strategic, data-driven decisions.

Craig Cotterill, CMAE Commercial Director, commented on the timeliness of the partnership. “As club managers face the challenge of moving their clubs forward in changing economic realities, the choices they make now need to be more and more evidence based. Access to fact-based insight and industry specific data is something that every business needs to make informed decisions. The CMAE is delighted to support our member clubs through our latest Premier Partner agreement with Club Benchmarking EMEA.”

Club Benchmarking EMEA will play a key role in helping the CMAE support and educate club managers through the MDP Pathway, giving a greater insight into the power of data-driven decision making. The three-year agreement reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the CMAE and its aim to raise the standards of club management across the UK, Europe and MENA. “This is a great way for the CMAE to begin what is going to be a very exciting year,” Cotterill continued. “Not only for our team, but for all CMAE members, delegates, commercial partners and educators.”

James Burns, Managing Director of Club Benchmarking EMEA, is excited about this commitment to CMAE. “This key partnership provides us with the opportunity to be at the leading edge of club management education in Europe. We believe that private clubs in Europe will benefit greatly from fact-based insight just as they have in North America and Australia.” Burns noted that core issues – the need to understand key financial drivers, the importance of capital planning, and data-driven measurement of member satisfaction, loyalty and attachment – cut across geographic borders and continents.

“This strategic partnership means our MDP Strategy & Leadership will be delivered in partnership with Club Benchmarking EMEA,” said CMAE CEO Torbjörn Johansson. ”I have personally seen Club Benchmarking going from strength to strength over in the US and we are excited to partner with them as they bring those resources to clubs in Europe and the Middle East.”
