Amsterdam-based golf brand Kaddey has announced the launch of its new ‘Kaddey Connected Collection’ featuring the Flex Bag, Cart Bag and Rangefinder, a trio of practical and innovative products that have been created to work in conjunction with the brand’s Switch Push Pull Trolley.
After the most successful year in the brand’s history, where thousands of golfers all over the world have discovered the highly innovative Switch product, Kaddey’s founders looked to other items that they could create that would enhance people’s golfing experience.
And following feedback from existing Kaddey customers, two new bags were designed to sit on the Switch, as well as a magnetized rangefinder that simply attaches to the frame of the trolley with a small adaptor.
“The Kaddey Switch Trolley is our brand’s hero product so we wanted to develop products that work seamlessly together with it and help existing and new customers get the most out of their Switch and apply our design philosophy to other golf gear,” says Nick van der Plaat, co-founder of the brand. “The Kaddey Connected Collection is the embodiment of this concept.”
The Kaddey Flex Bag €184/£155/$159)
Designed to change and improve the way golfers prepare for each round, the Kaddey Flex Bag is the first of its kind in the industry. It has been created as a portable 17-litre day bag for golf and gives players the opportunity to pack additional products at home before leaving for the course, depending on the weather, how many holes they might play or the course conditions on any particular day. Currently, golfers will often pack everything they think they might need into their normal golf bag, but with the Flex Bag you literally only pack for the day ahead.
Regardless of whether you leave your Switch and Cart Bag in a locker at the golf club, in a garage or in the boot of your car, the Flex Bag has been designed for you to take inside your home with you after every round so you can update the contents on a regular basis. It weighs just 0.8kg and is manufactured from Hardshell EVA ensuring high levels of durability.
A large back pocket opens out front wards so additional apparel can be easily reached, and there are two further pockets on the Flex Bag; a Valuables Pocket with Zipper Sub pouches and a Cooler Pocket fitted with an element that ensures day-long temperature regulation. The Flex Bag is easily-accessible when the Switch is in park mode and the click-on/click-off nature design makes it straightforward to attach and detach before and after you play.
The Kaddey Cart Bag (€319/£269/$279)
Made from synthetic leather and weighing just 2.6kg, the fully waterproof Kaddey Cart Bag features ‘Fast Lock’ technology that locks to the frame of the Switch trolley, meaning there is only one strap to secure it. There is one large pocket on each side of the bag which opens out fully for easy and simple access to products.
On the left is a golfer’s ‘Game Side’, while on the right players will find the ‘Body Side’. There is a further additional ball pocket on the Game Side, while the Body Side allows enough space for a jumper or waterproof, and there is also an insulated cooler pocket for food and beverages as well as a super soft valuables pocket.
The bag features a full length 14-way divider system to protect your clubs from damage, and two integrated handles at the top and bottom allow for an easy connection to the trolley.
The Kaddey Rangefinder (€279/£235/$244)
The new Kaddey Rangefinder features a 4k OLED Display and is an exciting entry in to world of distance measuring devices, but unlike most others, golfers won’t have to worry about storing it after each shot – simply click the magnetized side of the rangefinder to the frame of the Switch Trolley via the frame adaptor and your rangefinder is always in reach.
The Caddy Rangefinder features ‘Fast Find’ target seeking technology that calculates distances in seconds, helping to speed up your round. The adaptive slope switch – which can be turned off and on – details height difference and gradient distances too, meaning golfers have the most accurate information on which to base their club selection.
It also benefits from Auto Ambient Display technology that adapts to all lighting conditions allowing for effortless visibility. The Rangefinder comes complete with a USB cable for sustainable charging.
