Ping unveils AW22 men’s apparel range

5.09pm 25th January 2022 - New Products

PING has announced details of its Autumn/Winter 2022 apparel collection, which boasts a range of ground-breaking material technologies, including the first to use of graphene in golf clothing.

Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice, and is the lightest, strongest and most conductive material ever discovered. It was isolated in 2004 by two researchers at The University of Manchester, professors Andre Geim and Kostya Novoselov, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their pioneering work.

SensorDry Pro Jacket

In the all-new SensorDry 2.5 Graphene Waterproof suit and Elemental Polo, PING has incorporated a Graphene print to the inside of the fabric, creating superior performance and protection. The Graphene print helps conduct and retain heat, regulating the body temperature and aids comfort during play – becoming a perfect addition to winter wear.

The SensorDry Series continues to build on the previous season’s success, with the SensorDry 2.5 Graphene Waterproof suit headlining the updated range. It becomes the latest to join a well-established line of elite waterproofs and now features an innovative Graphene print. This new suit offers ultimate waterproof protection, whilst remaining ultra-lightweight with flexible stretch, windproof and breathable features, as well as the addition of thermal conductive properties, ensuring superior performance and protection from the elements.

The SensorDry Pro jacket now comes in four striking colour options, providing more choice to complete the winter look. A further development comes with the introduction of the SensorDry Pro Half-Zip jacket, available in two contemporary colour-blocked designs. To complete the expanding SensorDry Series, the SensorDry jacket now has five colour options to choose from, all engineered for waterproof protection in wet weather. Complimentary SensorDry headwear includes a bucket hat and cap; both perfect for keeping the rain at bay.

Other key garments come from the updated Norse Series, which continues in the wake of previous success, and now features the Norse S4 jacket, Norse S4 Zoned jacket and Norse S4 reversible vest. Each garment is engineered for superior warmth with the insulated properties provided by PrimaLoft technology, which continues to push the limits of lightweight warmth, unwavering comfort and performance.

Also insulated withPrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™, the reversible Norse S4 vest is extremely light and provides superior levels of warmth with no bulk.

Together, the SensorDry and Norse Series provide the ultimate protection for any Autumn/Winter collection, providing unrivalled performance and comfort whatever the weather. With a SensorWarm neck warmer available in three colour coordinating choices and six colour options of the cresting knit hat, the new AW22 range brings every winter essential to complete the look.

The AW22 release also reveals the new SensorWarm Winter trouser, engineered for comfort and protection in cold weather. The trouser provides lightweight warmth with a brushed-back stretch fabric and superior water resistance to keep you warm and dry.

The new Elemental Polo showcases PING’s newly developed SensorWarm engineered with Graphene knitted stretch fabric. Like the SensorDry 2.5 Graphene Waterproof suit, the inside of the fabric incorporates a Graphene print, designed to absorb and maintain warmth. Its long sleeve polo shirt styling makes this the perfect winter base layer. The style also features flatlock seams for stretch and comfort and the hexagonal print at the back neck is a visual reference to the Graphene technology.
