Tyrrell Hatton made a perfect start to the 2021 Race to Dubai by claiming his sixth European Tour title at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
Using PING’s new G425 range of woods, Hatton produced a dominant performance on Sunday to finish on 18-under par, four shots clear of his nearest competitor.
Hatton’s winning bag setup consisted of a Ping G425 LST driver, Ping G425 LST 3-wood, Ping G425 7-wood, Ping i210 irons (4-PW), Ping Glide 3.0 wedge (50) and a Ping Vault Oslo putter.
Hatton’s fourth Rolex Series victory comes just days after it was announced that he had renewed his equipment contract with PING.
Hatton, who leads the 2021 Race to Dubai and heads the European Ryder Cup points list, has now moved up to fifth in Official World Golf Rankings, his highest ever position. He is set to tee it up at next week’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
