World Golf Expo 2021 – WGE Re-Scheduled

3.37pm 13th November 2020 - Exhibitions & Conferences

With the resurgence of COVID-19 in various parts of the world, the Inaugural World Golf Expo (WGE) has been re-scheduled.

The major international knowledge and business summit on golf is confirmed to be staged at Mission Hills Resort in Haikou, Hainan on November 4 – 6, 2021.

“We tried to delay making the announcement regarding the re-scheduling of the World Golf Expo in the hope that conditions would improve resulting in us being able to stage the event as scheduled,” said Tenniel Chu, Chairman of the WGE Organising Committee and Vice Chairman of the Mission Hills Group.

“Sadly, while conditions have improved somewhat in some countries, the general situation is seen as not being conducive to bringing a large group of people from various parts of the world to attend a business conference,” he added.

The Executive Producer of WGE, Mike Sebastian, CEO of the Asia Pacific Golf Group said, “We are looking ahead, and the re-scheduling of the World Golf Expo provides us with a special opportunity to re-think the event into an even larger show – bigger and better than what was originally conceived.”

“I can personally assure everyone that the re-scheduled and re-imagined World Golf Expo will be well worth the wait. Rest assured that we will be staging some of the best industry experts – people who will be sharing and reflecting the way forward for the industry,” declared Sebastian.

WGE 2021 is a collaboration between the Mission Hills Group and Asian Golf.
