Verdura unveils new luxury villas

10.59am 4th August 2020 - Travel

Golfers looking to book a holiday this autumn can do so in style at Sicily’s Verdura Resort, with the exclusive venue set to add to its luxury accommodation portfolio by opening eight new private villas in September.

Set on a hillside, with panoramic views towards Verdura Resort’s private beach and the Sicilian coast, the villas have been designed by Olga Polizzi, Director of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels, with each property boasting traditional beams, flat roofs, external stairs and floor-to-ceiling windows. Arranged over two levels, each offers a different style and features three or four bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and living area spilling out to an ocean-view pool and gardens.

Guests staying in the new villas can take advantage of an array of exclusive services, including private airport transfers; check-in directly at the villa; three bicycles and two golf buggies for exclusive within the estate; non-alcoholic minibar, along with a selection of Sicilian wines and delicatessen products; and access to the resort’s golf courses, spa and dedicated concierge service.

The resort’s golf facilities include an 18-hole championship course and a par-three nine-hole executive course designed by Kyle Phillips, a double-ended driving range and golf academy. In addition, the venue features Italy’s only European Tour-approved Performance Institute, where players of all abilities can hone their swings using cutting-edge technology.
