Fresh Start for Kanda Golf

3.38pm 22nd July 2020 - People

Jerry Kilby CCM, former CEO of the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE), has re-launched his own company, Kanda Golf to provide management support to golf clubs, suppliers and service providers to the golf industry.

The services that Kanda Golfwill be providing to golf clubs includes revenue audits; governance reviews; interim management services; help with the creation and implementation of strategic plans and sales training for golf club staff.

Jerry Kilby said: “As golf clubs look to re-build their businesses after Covid-19, especially those that had enjoyed revenues from functions, weddings and parties, it will be very important to ensure the club has an effective governance structure and strategic plan to follow over the coming years, to ensure financial stability and a successful future.”

Recognising that out-sourcing services is more relevant now than it may have been before Covid, he added: “Golf Club Boards, Committees and Managers need not try and take on all the challenges and problems alone.  By out-sourcing tasks like Strategic Planning or Staff Training allows management to get on with the day-to-day work.”

“I am fortunate to have secured the services of numerous experienced golf club managers, who can help golf clubs with their specialist skills” he continued.  “Each of these bring different knowledge and experience to the table, and together, we provide cost-effective, practical and extremely relevant advisory services to golf clubs”.

In addition, Kanda Golf are providing services to companies that provide services to the golf industry and can help those that are launching a new product or service as well as those that wish to broaden awareness of an existing service.
