Four resorts, three golf courses. What better combination than white beaches and stunning golf courses on the beautiful island of Mauritius? All guests booking to stay at one of Sun Resorts hotel properties including Long Beach, Ambre, La Pirogue or Sugar Beach, will receive free and unlimited green fees on three championship golf courses: Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club, Anahita Golf Club and Tamarina Golf Club.
Designed by the famous golf champion, Bernhard Langer, Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is an 18 holes golf course which lies on the East coast of Mauritius. The island golf course is reachable only by a ‘special golf’ boat shuttle from its private jetty or by a scenic helicopter flip. The spectacular in covers 38 hectares of the iconic Ile aux Cerfs Island with the holes snaking along the preserved tropical flora and fauna of the island. Children up to 16 years old can also free green fees, range balls and trolleys at IACGC.
Set between land and sea, Anahita Golf Club, is a challenging 18-hole golf course par-72 championship with large fairways and five sets of tees. Built to USGA standards, the six stunning ocean front holes culminate in a final shot that is among the most spectacular in the world.
The Tamarina Golf Club is a championship 18-hole, par 72 course designed by architect Rodney Wright which combines technical challenges with sweeping views over the stunning Rempart Mountain and Tamarin Bay.
Joelle Edwards Tonks, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Sun Resorts, commented: “This offer is part of the Sun group’s new strategy of positioning golf at the very centre of our hotels, whether in a fun way for beginners or for an exceptional golfing experience for experienced golf players.”
