Golf course design firm Creative Golf Design is to exhibit at the upcoming British Golf Show, which is taking place at Wycombe Air Park in Buckinghamshire from October 2-3.
Creative Golf Design provides design expertise and consultancy advice for new golf course projects and also to established golf clubs looking to improve or expand their facilities. They work closely with a couple of former European Tour players, Ken Brown and Paul Eales, and involve them on projects when required.
Recent projects have included relocation of Scraptoft Golf Club to a new site to make way for a new housing development. The golf club will benefit from a new 18-hole course, 9-hole par three course, full length driving range with target greens and a dedicated short-game area, as well as a new clubhouse as part of the deal. They have also recently completed course improvements at Royal Blackheath, West Surrey, Beau Desert, Thorndon Park, Alwoodley, Moortown and Lindrick.
Director and principal golf course architect, Ken Moodie, who is a member and Past President of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, will be on hand during the show to meet visitors and discuss the services it offers.
The British Golf Show, in association with The PGA, was due to take place on May 15-16, but was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The event, which is co-located with The Elite Events – London luxury lifestyle exhibition, is owned by The Elite Luxury Events Ltd.
