“Generating Membership Leads” – The New Title from Promote Books

8.32am 12th February 2020 - Management Topics

Promote Books have released their third title, “Generating Membership Leads”, joining their first two book publications “Driving Green Fee Revenues” and “Tee Time Management”. The new book examines innovative tactics and strategies to increase the number of inbound enquiries for golf club membership and, ultimately, subscription revenues.

Matthew Orwin and David Reeves, Co-Authors of the book, bring their 50 years combined golf club management experience to offer a comprehensive evaluation of the key practices clubs can employ in order to attract and enrol new members to the club. Matthew Orwin comments, “It’s widely accepted that traditional golf membership products have dwindled in their popularity over the last decade, so clubs need to be doing everything they can in order to generate inbound enquiries. It’s not enough to sit back and expect them to flood in – there needs to be a proactive effort to go out and generate them. This book looks at lots of different ways in which a club can, with minimal spend, generate more membership enquiries. It’s all practical stuff that can be implemented at any club.”

“I think as an industry we’re sometimes guilty of searching for the convenient one-stop solution – the one initiative or tactic that will sort everything out and see an influx of new members. In recent years, you could point to Facebook and social media as being some clubs go-to option, and there’s no doubt that the medium can have powerful results. However, it’s our belief that you need a basket of activities and initiatives across a range of different media in order to see the best results. Facebook working in isolation can get results but working in tandem with lots of other activities and media only compounds its positive impact.”

At over 200 pages in length, the book is split into seven chapters:

The title can be purchased individually for £49.95 or as part of a three-set deal including Driving Green Fee Revenues and Tee Time Management for £109.95.
