Golf GPS App company Hole19 has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of experienced sales manager Max Harvey.

Harvey joins the team bringing in a wealth of knowledge and experience within the golf industry from his time at Mediadrive and, most recently, GolfMagic.

Hole19 saw record numbers in 2019 in terms of user growth and rounds logged on the app. With a total of 1.8 million registered users in over 200 countries, golfers have collectively played over 4.5 million rounds of golf using the app in 2019 alone. With this, Hole19 has positioned itself to offer partners an opportunity to reach golfers all over the world.

2019’s numbers demonstrate a 45% YOY growth in terms of rounds played and takes overall rounds played to 15.9 million since launch in 2014. Hole19 has also recorded a 98% YOY revenue growth with an operating income of 12.5%, showing that growth has not come at the expense of sustainability for the team of nearly 20 people based in Lisbon, Porto, and now its new presence in London.

“I am excited to join such a fantastic company in Hole19,” said Harvey. “Having used the app itself for a number of years, I am thrilled to be part of the team and help them with their continued growth over the last few years.’

Anthony Douglas, CEO & Founder, added: “Max is a great fit for this position. I am confident that his experience and industry knowledge will help set the standard for our continued growth and achieve our ambitious targets. I am excited to have him onboard as a key element for our global sales efforts.”

Hole19 will be out at the upcoming 2020 PGA Merchandise Show and if you would like to find out more information, you can get in touch below.
