Specialist sports and tourism agency Azalea has appointed luxury sector specialist Neil Docking (pictured left) as the company’s new head of partnerships.
Docking, a former golf professional, has vast experience of the luxury business and travel sectors having worked in a number of specialist roles worldwide over the last 14 years, most notably for global travel and lifestyle concierge services Ten Group and Quintessentially.
The South African’s responsibilities will include working with new and existing clients to develop sales, partnership and sponsorship opportunities within the golf, sports and corporate business markets.
And in a second exciting development for Azalea, the sports and tourism experts have further strengthened the team by adding Natasha Peters to the staff. Peters has taken up a full-time position after impressing on an initial three-month consultancy spell, and will continue to support all departments with marketing support, influencer engagement and new media contacts.
Sean Noble, Azalea’s managing director, said: “These are exciting times for the company as we continue to grow, and we’re delighted to welcome Neil and Natasha to the team. We have known Neil for many years and worked with him on various partnerships, and his previous senior roles with Ten Group and Quintessentially will provide us with a very strong lead on what is an expanded service offering for the business. Natasha has impressed us greatly with the knowledge and enthusiasm that she has demonstrated, and we are excited for the future as she takes on a more expansive role.”
Docking said: “I’ve watched Azalea evolve over a decade, and it was clear to me that the business has become an established force in golf, sports and leisure communications. I’m excited to join the team, and look forward to generating further opportunities to engage existing and new clients with corporate business and sponsorship opportunities.”
