Following the recent confirmation of Golfbreaks’ partnership extension as a Principle Partner of the PGA, the travel company has announced the launch of its exclusive Pro Travel Partner Programme.

After celebrating its 10th anniversary of offering a dedicated Pro Travel service, Golfbreaks is working with a select group of 10 professionals from across the UK, whereby the exclusive programme will offer additional booking benefits, in recognition of the loyalty given by the group since Golfbreaks first started catering to golf professional bookings over a decade ago.

With qualified PGA experience, the dedicated team of six professionals within Golfbreaks’ Pro Travel Department provides a bespoke service to the industry, offering over 2,000 venues worldwide, with more than 5,500 golfers travelling annually as part of a Pro Travel booking. In addition to the tailored service from the Pro Travel team, benefits for Golf Professionals booking with  Golfbreaks includes5% commission on both pro led and referred bookings as well as the accumulation of Breakpoints, Golfbreaks’unique loyalty scheme, on any Pro Travel booking, which can be used against a future break.

Utilising Golfbreaks’ partnerships with Callaway, OGIO, Travis Mathews and Oakley, members of the exclusive Pro Travel Partner Programme will be visible at some of the sports’ biggest events, notably the 2020 PGA Show in January, with all members of the programme invited to join the Golfbreaks team in Orlando.

Of the Pro Travel Partner Programme, Ben Foster, Head of Golfbreaks Pro Travel, said: “We created this initiative to not only reward, but to work closer with and help this select group grow their travel business with their members and clients. We see the Programme as a constantly evolving and collaborative partnership, where the number of exclusive partners grows year on year, and members can share best practice with each other, whilst continuing to lean on the dedicated support of our Pro Travel Team.

Pro Travel Partner Steve Carter, from Walmley Golf Club, said: “I am delighted to be part of the Golfbreaks Pro Travel Partner Programme and believe it is a great initiative to help drive forward the travel side of my business as a PGA Professional. Having booked my travel with the dedicated team at Golfbreaks for more than 8 years, working with the team has proved to be very fruitful. They are so easy to deal with and have really helped take my travel with members and clients to the next level. I’m really looking forward to continuing my relationship with them for many years’ to come.”
