Callaway has announced a total of 10 new signings to its list of European Tour staff players for the 2019 season.

Alongside Major champions Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson and Danny Willett, the brand has added three Englishmen – Jordan Smith, Tom Lewis and Stephen Brown; three South Africans – Thomas Aiken, Erik van Rooyen and Christiaan Bezuidenhout; two Germans, Maximilian Kiefer and Bernd Ritthammer; Spaniard Nacho Elvira and Frenchman Mike Lorenzo-Vera.

Smith won his maiden European Tour victory at the 2017 Porsche European Open and bagged a top-ten at that year’s US PGA Championship. Last year 2018, he came third at the British Masters, and finished 43rd in the Race to Dubai rankings. Lewis is a two-time winner of the Portugal Open, including 2018, while Brown, who hails from Surrey, is in his second season on the European Tour after graduating from the Challenge Tour in 2017.

Peter Harrison, Callaway’s EMEA Director of Tour Relations, said: “Our new signings join some of the biggest names in the game, multiple winners on Tour, Major winners and Ryder Cup stars, to create one of the strongest line-ups of Staff Professionals we have ever had. Aligned with a host of important product launches for the new season, including Epic Flash drivers and our revolutionary Odyssey Stroke Lab putters, players are excited to be putting our new hardware into competitive play after hugely positive testing sessions.”

Neil Howie, Managing Director of Callaway Golf EMEA, added: “The PGA European Tour represents the perfect platform from which to showcase our family of brands. By increasing our team of Callaway staff professionals for the 2019 season and beyond, and simultaneously announcing a new strategic partnership with the Tour, we are now well-positioned to further amplify our market-leading innovations and standout product performance.”
