Zest.Golf Technologies, an ambitious new tech company, has struck partnership agreements with Chronogolf and the Golf Club Managers’ Association (GCMA) as it bids to increase its reach.
Zest.Golf has become an official supplier to the GCMA in the UK on a one-year deal, while also beginning work with global distribution company Chronogolf.
With offices in Scotland and the Netherlands, Zest.Golf has recently launched Channel Manager technology which provides a 100% open connection between golf courses, tee-sheet providers and distribution partner platforms. They are now looking forward to working with both Chronogolf and the GCMA to utilise the benefits of their technology.
Founded in 2012 by a team of golf enthusiasts, Chronogolf facilitate interactions between golf courses and golf players through web applications and cloud infrastructure. Over 500 golf courses use Chronogolf’s software solutions across five continents, with over 16 million rounds booked on their tee time marketplace to date. In 2018, the company generated record sales and was successful in expanding into the US, Canada and Europe.
“Chronogolf is very excited to have an innovative new partner in Zest Golf,” said Matt Welliver, Vice President of Corporate Development. “We believe the combination of their distribution channels and our cloud-based golf course management software suite will allow us to connect more golf courses with golfers throughout the European market.”
Zest.Golf is now also part of the GCMA’s ‘Partner Network’ created to connect industry suppliers with the association’s 1,700 members – a community of key decision makers in golf clubs around the UK and overseas. The network is designed to not only ensure GCMA members are kept up to date with the latest products and technologies, but also to share knowledge and expertise between members and partners, as well as to support the delivery of the association’s benefits and services.
Mike Hyde, GCMA Communications Manager, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Zest.Golf as a GCMA Official Supplier. Their Channel Manager technology could be genuinely transformative for the industry, and we are excited about connecting Zest.Golf with as many golf club managers as possible. The Zest.Golf team offer a fascinating vision of the future of tee-time sales, and I hope GCMA members will embrace their ideas.”
Oliver Dury, Commercial Director at Zest.Golf, pictured, added: “We’re delighted to have partnered with both Chronogolf and the Golf Club Managers’ Association. We believe Channel Manager can transform the industry, as it provides golf courses with the opportunity to connect with multiple tee time sales channels and maintain complete control over the availability and price of tee-times sold online. We’re very excited to be launching our products and working together with Chronogolf and the GCMA going forward.”
