Mar Hall is set in a secluded woodland estate near Bishopton on the banks of the River Clyde, only 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport and 20 minutes from Glasgow City Centre.
The luxurious five-star Mar Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort has 53 bedrooms, Cristal Restaurant, Tattinger Bar, Grand Hall, conference and meeting facilities, dedicated wedding and special events facilities, a leisure club including 20 metre pool, saunas and steam rooms, a gymnasium and aerobics/yoga studio, plus the only Aveda Concept Spa outside of London.

Built on the banks of the river Clyde the course will appeal to golfers of all levels. The golf itself is challenging. Having been built incorporating an abundance of mature trees combined with strategic bunkers it calls for clear club choice and accurate delivery. At par 70 it measures just under 6,500 yards comprising of two par fives, four par threes and twelve par fours.

Mar Hall Welcomes New General Manager
Neil Ellis has been appointed general manager of the luxurious property. A Member of the Institute of Hospitality and a graduate of the General Managers’ Programme at Cornell University in the USA, Ellis is an established and respected hotelier with over twenty years experience in the hospitality industry in Scotland, most recently as general manager of the City Inn in Glasgow.
Commenting on his new role, Neil Ellis said: “I am joining Mar Hall at a very exciting time in the resort’s development.
