It’s time to book your place for a golf day to remember and be inspired by a Tour pro – while helping the Golf Foundation to grow girls’ golf in schools, communities and golf clubs.
Places are filling up for the 32nd Golf Foundation Charity Pro-Am on October 8, supported by the European Tour Foundation. Golf-lovers can book team or individual places alongside a Tour professional who can help lift their game to new heights. All profits go directly towards Golf Foundation initiatives to encourage more girls to enjoy the game; part of the charity’s strategy in helping boys and girls from all backgrounds to ‘Start, Learn and Stay’ in the sport.
For just £325 golfers can book their spot for the event, held this year on The Heritage course at London Golf Club, Kent, a European Tour Destination.
The Pro-Am is supported by the European Tour Foundation and is a highly popular networking event among players of all abilities from the golf industry and world of business. European Tour professionals will welcome groups of amateurs and individual players to help make the Pro-Am a superb day in the diary of many golfers who want to show their support of junior grass roots golf via the Golf Foundation.
Teams of three amateurs will be guided around the course by a Tour professional for a Stableford better-ball competition with prizes and on-course challenges. The atmosphere is always very friendly as amateurs are joined by European Tour, European Challenge Tour, and Staysure Tour players, and this year, in celebration of supporting girls’ golf, five Ladies European Tour players will join in the action at London Golf Club. For the first time this year, hole sponsorship is available to companies who wish to show their support for £250.
Attractions include a champagne breakfast before a shot-gun start, a three-course meal and a charity auction. Bookings are for £950 per team or for individuals this is £325 each.

This year, allocating funds to support this activity for girls is proving to be a highly popular move.

Across all fundraising, the Golf Foundation relies on support from all golfers as it introduces half-a-million young people to golf every year through its ‘HSBC Golf Roots’ programme, creating a pathway from school and community golf to regular play at the golf club.
