Overload Golf Ventures (“OGV”), a private venture firm focused on technology innovation in the golf industry, is expanding its global footprint by forming aboutGolf Global. AGG has acquired aboutGolf LTD to further its goals of developing unique opportunities in the golf industry by expanding the indoor golf and entertainment experience into new markets and demographics.

We see an opportunity to capitalize on a growing youth golf demographic (one of only two growing youth sports in the past 5 years) along with a highly sophisticated and mobile-centric younger generation to bring cutting-edge products and technologies over the next decade.”
Brett Campbell, co-founder of enterprise software company, Nintex, which was recently acquired by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and company. He said, “We at Overload Golf Ventures are committed to building on the foundations built by aboutGolf and its partnerships with some of the greatest innovator’s in the industry to be a leader bringing golf into the future.”
Overload Golf Ventures is venture capital firm led by general partners who come from finance, technology and golf. The first fund, Overload Golf Ventures Fund I, is a $25 million fund focused on deploying capital to innovative companies in golf to bring access and grow the industry. aboutGolf is one of a few companies OGV has already invested in. The fund will have an initial close of the fund in the fall of 2018.
