Golfbreaks.com, Europe’s largest golf travel company, has been signed up as a partner for Golf LIVE, the exciting new interactive golf event to be staged at Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire, from 14-16 May 2010.
Within the Golf LIVE exhibition space, “The Golfbreaks.com Destinations area” will allow golfers to interact with the golf travel specialist, hotels, golf resorts and destinations alike. Attendees will also have the opportunity to book the very latest golf breaks, win some fantastic golf prizes and sample food and drink from various regions across Europe.
Golf LIVE boasts a growing list of leading golfers and coaches already signed up to take part including Colin Montgomerie, Paul Casey, Ian Poulter, Retief Goosen and Denis Pugh.
The Daily Telegraph and Bauer Consumer Media, publishers of Today’s Golfer, Golf World and todaysgolfer.com, are the event’s Media Partners and will be providing advance publicity.
“We are delighted to be involved with this exciting new project,” said Keith Mitchell, Director of Product and Marketing at Golfbreaks.com. “ Not only will Golf LIVE provide another great opportunity for us to spend time with our customers, it will also allow everyone who attends the chance to come and see us and take advantage of some of the exclusive special deals we will be offering that weekend.”
Commenting on Golfbreaks.com’s involvement, James Goode, the Event Director said: “It’s with great pleasure that I confirm that Golfbreaks.com has signed up as a partner of Golf LIVE. It’s excellent news for the event to have the market leader in golf travel on board allowing Golf LIVE ticket holders access to a wide range of deals not available anywhere else.”
Golf LIVE has been created by Brand Events, in conjunction with the International Management Group (IMG), and it has used the knowledge it has gleaned staging successful public shows like Top Gear Live and The Taste Festivals, to put together an exciting event that gives golfers of all ages and abilities the chance to meet and learn from many of the leading figures in the game.
Golf LIVE is all about interaction, education and entertainment. When you purchase a daily ticket you are given a pre-allocated time to attend Monty’s Masterclass and in between, you are free to book a lesson with a top PGA professional or mind coach, learn at first hand Tour players’ tricks of the trade or sign up for a custom fitting session with one of the leading club manufacturers. There will also be ample time to visit the Short Game Theatre, the Retail Village and the Competition Zone, where you can compete with other visitors for a wide selection of fantastic prizes, before the day concludes with an unforgettable Grand Finale featuring Montgomerie, Casey and many of the other leading golfers and celebrities.
“Golf LIVE is a totally new concept,” said Goode. “It will present the opportunity for passionate golf enthusiasts to enjoy an interactive learning experience from some of the world’s top golfers in specially created theatres.
“Golf LIVE will also present a 360-degree view of the golfing world, from the latest products of the leading manufacturers to insightful hints and tips from golf’s best players, coaches and sports psychologists. We believe this event will break the mould and take the golfing world by storm.”
Tickets for Golf LIVE will go on sale in February 2010 priced at £45 for a standard daily ticket and £75 for VIP. A maximum of 4,000 tickets will be released each day and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
