Worldwide Recognition For Health Benefits of Golf

October 17th, 2018

In our lead story today we report on the ‘Global Consensus For Golf In Race To Tackle Physical Inactivity’ following a major announcement in London at the 7th Congress of the International Society for Physical Activity and Health. None of this is remotely a surprise to those of us involved with the sport.

The biennial scientific meeting of ISPAH, however, is widely regarded as the world’s flagship physical activity and public health event and is attended by more than 1,000 delegates from 60 countries, so it’s great if the news that ‘golf does you good’ is spread even more widely. Within our report we publish a useful infographic which seeks to answer the question ‘What can the Golf Industry do to maximise the health benefits of Golf?’ and is full of good ideas. Enjoy the read.
