Welcome to The Home of Golf

May 31st, 2013

As St Andrews makes ready to welcome the delegates from more than 30 countries who are attending next week’s KPMG Golf Business Forum, we acknowledge that the next year or so will see Scotland – with The Open Championship at Muirfield and The Ryder Cup at Gleneagles – continuing to capitalise on its global status as “The Home of Golf’.

Next week a special report, commissioned by the Scottish Golf Union, in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and Event Scotland, will provide in-depth analysis of the value of golf to Scotland, including operations, capital investments, tournaments, sponsorship, golf tourism and real estate.

We will bring you more details next Friday.
